St. John Bosco is a distinctive Catholic College Preparatory community in the Salesian tradition educating with reason, religion, and loving-kindness.
Our Salesian approach to education creates a welcoming school environment where every young man can become something greater than himself. Don Bosco’s Preventive System established that reason, religion and loving-kindness are essential to forming the whole person.
St. John Bosco High School is a Catholic and Salesian secondary school committed to a tradition of educating young men with reason, religion, and loving-kindness to become men of purpose. We strive for excellence in Catholic male formation through intellectual, artistic, spiritual, and physical advancement becoming the national school of choice for young men.
Don Bosco’s vision established that the virtues of faith, knowledge, leadership, and citizenship create the conditions for success among the young. At St. John Bosco we are committed to forming young men of purpose -- good Christians and honest citizens to form The Bosco Man. To realize the vision of Don Bosco and advance the mission of St. John Bosco High School, we honor its rich heritage while pursuing a pioneering future.
All-Male Education
For nearly 80 years, Bosco has been the leader in all-male college-preparatory education. Don Bosco’s Oratory Model of Home, School, Church, Playground, coupled with the all-male educational environment, creates an interactive experience for our students where they can truly be themselves.
"Attending an all-boys high school helped me stay focused in the classroom and on the football field. I’ve made incredible friendships with my Bosco brothers."
Cole Aubrey, Class of 2019
Princeton University, Class of 2023
The all-male environment is sensitive to the individual needs of the student. Each student is taught a basic core curriculum within a Catholic and Salesian philosophy of education. St. John Bosco’s teachers and coaches form meaningful relationships with their students; our students are known personally and belong to a supportive community. Young men who graduate from St. John Bosco High School integrate Catholic values into their daily life as active members of their family, church, and society.
